Santa Maria Kiwanis for Kids, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation.   Through the volunteer services of the members of the Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria, funds are raised through numerous fundraising activities in the Santa Maria community.  These funds are then used to provide grants to organizations that meet the goals of Kiwanis International.

The Santa Maria Kiwanis for Kids Foundation’s grant-making efforts this year have addressed the needs of community members from childhood through their golden years, with funding awarded to eight organizations serving different demographics. From providing basic needs through Sleep in Heavenly Peace and the Salvation Army, to supporting seniors through SMOOTH, to enhancing youth programs via P.L.A.Y. and the SJHS Swim Team, the foundation’s strategic giving reflects its comprehensive approach to improving lives across all age groups in the local community.
